GLOF EWS Workshop 15 January, 2010 – Installing an automatic early warning system (EWS) to reduce the impact of a glacial lake outburst flood (GLOF) in the Punatshangchu basin has become urgent, according to participants of yesterday’s inception workshop on the regional climate risk reduction project in Punakha.
