A former military man, Pasang Thrinlee became an MP in 2008.  After graduating from Sherubtse College, he trained at India’s prestigious Nation Defence Academy and the Indian Miitary Academy.  He was enjoyed a long and distinguished career as an officer of the Royal Bhutan Army (RBA).

Pasang was also Vice-President of the Bhutan Archery Federation, Secretary of Bhutan Basketball Federation, and trained RBA boxers to compete at the 1st SAF games in Nepal in 1984, where he won three bronze medals.

He was most recently a committee member for Foreign Relations in the National Assembly.

Making Bajo town a commercial hub which will play a major role in shaping the economic growth of the region and remain as a hub of business center for Sha Dhar Gye in his dream.

The Druk Phuensum Tshogpa’s candidate from Nyishog-Saephu constituency in Wangdue Phodrang, firmly believes the future of Bhutan rests with the youth of Bhutan.

He aims to foster that potential in young people to help secure the socio-economic prosperity of Bhutan.
